Thomas Banks was born on January 11,1960 in Columbus ,Ohio to William and Virginia Parks Banks. Thomas, known to many as "Tommy", "TG", or "Banks", was educated in the Columbus City School system and graduated from North High School. "TG" briefly served in the United States Army and attended The Ohio State University.
Tommy worked in law enforcement for over 40 years and he was also a business owner. Many remember him as serving as a Security Minister leader for his church, Trinity Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio.
TG possessed a welcoming spirit and giving heart. He loved to be surrounded by family and friends; welcoming everyone in his home for Sunday dinner or a celebration. With a cigar, beverage, and the aroma of cologne and weapon at his side he lived life to the fullest. For "Tommy," life was best when at home with his wife, Kerline, his 3 daughters Luv-Sinth, Merline, Mandy and his son Vincent. Through out his life he worked hard and overcame many challenges in private and in public. This man of faith in GOD lived by the Golden Rule, "Treat people the way you would want to be treated".
On Sunday, July 16th,2023 Thomas entered eternal rest. He joins his parents and siblings, Williams Banks, Robert Banks, Carmen Banks, and Jacquelyn Seward.
