Thomas Silva Hernandez , 80, passed on March 14, 2021. He was born to the late St. Juan Soriano Hernandez and Merlyn Silva Hernandez on October 02, 1940 and raised in up State New York on a family owned Dairy farm. 

He married Wanda Blanchard in 1974 and they lived together in New Orleans, Louisiana for 37 years Together they raised 2 children Janelle Hernandez-Flores (Jonathan Flores ), Jessica Blanchard . He is also survived by 3 grandchildren Brandon, Christina & Brianna. 

Thomas graduated Salutatorian from Tulane University - New Orleans in 1968. He worked as an Engineer - Nasa & City of New Orleans until he retired in 1998. He was passionate about History and spent his extra time rebuilding antique clocks and sewing machines. 

He will be remembered for being a gentle, kind father and husband. Who never was angry and loved to tell . He will be greatly missed.
