On June 9, 2024, the world lost a true legend with the passing of Taz Grayson. Born on August 27, 1992, in New Orleans, La. Taz was a vibrant soul who touched the lives of all who knew him.

He was the beloved son of Mark Melerine and Tammy Grayson, who raised him with love and care. Taz had a passion for aviation from a young age and pursued his dreams by studying at Foley High School and eventually working as an Aviation Mechanic at Collins Aerospace.

Though Taz had no children of his own, he was a mentor and friend to many. His kind heart and infectious laughter will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

When he wasn't hard at work, Taz could often be found indulging in his favorite hobby of fishing. He found solace in the tranquility of nature and the thrill of reeling in a big catch.

Taz Grayson will be forever remembered by Bonus Mom Missy Melerine, Brothers, Ryan (Kaylee) Grayson, Jerame Forbes and Dustin Sproles. Sister Savannah Christopher- Broussard. His kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he loved will always be remembered for his unwavering spirit, his genuine kindness, and the impact he had on those around him.
