Susan BowerLansingSusan Bower, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2016.  She was born on April 30, 1933 to Charles and Dora (Lorenz) Baker.  She graduated from Nursing School in 1954, and married Russell "Milt" Bower in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1956.  They moved to Lansing, Michigan in the 70's and raised their family before retiring to the Canadian Lakes. While Susan enjoyed being in nature, fishing, and cooking, the greatest joy of her life was her family.  Susan radiated life - always laughing, singing, and brightening up the world.She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her two brothers.She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Russ (Nancy) Bower, Renee Bower Day, and Kimberly Bower (Dana) Allen; her grandchildren, Rusty Bower, Garrett Bower, Jennifer Day, Tyler Day, Stephanie Day, Chad (Cali) Williams, Kambria McGrath; her great-grandchildren, Dailey Williams and Brooklyn McGrath; and her sisters-in-law, June Johnson and Margaret Bower.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 10:00am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, with visitation one hour prior.
