Stuart M. Garner passed away peacefully on November 18, 2015 at the age of 74. He entered into eternal life after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer four months prior. He died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Michael and Henrietta Garner on April 13, 1941.

At the age of one, the family moved to California where they made their home in Van Nuys. He attended grammar school and graduated from Van Nuys High School, class of 58’. He then went on to be a USC graduate with a degree in Accounting CPA. He was very proud to be a Trojan. Stuart was very active in the Masons, Shriners, Scottish Rite, and was a CHP senior volunteer. In 2008, he moved to Oxnard from Las Vegas opening his own CPA office, Stuart Garner & Associates Inc. He married the former Irma (Monique) Palma and was co-owner of Monique’s Bridal. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gerald. He is survived by his loving wife Irma, his sons Paul Garner and Daniel Palma. Daughters, Rene Garner and Iyeida (Jada) Palma (Victor Coronel). Granddaughters, Dezare (Isaac) Aguilar and Monique Gonzalez. Grandsons Manuel (Esmerelda) Palma, and Raul Palma. Great granddaughters, Natalie, Ava Aguilar and Mila Palma.
