Stella Wilkerson, beloved mother, grandmother, and teacher, passed away on January 19, 2025, in Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States. She was born on November 1, 1948, to Bean and Pearl Wilkerson.

Stella is survived by her five children, Ricky, Linda, Hywatha, Pete, and Josephine. She was a loving grandmother to nine grandchildren.

Stella attended Seneca Valley High School and graduated in 1965. She went on to become a teacher, dedicated to shaping young minds. Stella worked tirelessly in this profession until her well-deserved retirement in 2018.

Stella Wilkerson will be remembered for her kind heart, selflessness, and dedication to her family and students. She leaves behind a legacy of love and education that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
