GLASER, JR.Stanley F. "Butchie" Glaser, Jr., 72, of Independence, Kentucky passed away on June 10, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on October 1, 1944 to the late Stanley and Ethel Glaser, Sr. On October 8, 1964 he married Dianna Hitch, who survives. Butchie was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era and later retired from Cincinnati Bell. Butchie loved hunting, fishing and was a jack of all trades when it came to fixing things. Butchie is survived by his wife of 52 years; his daughters Melissa Glaser Berry, Laura Nicole Glaser and Stephanie Glaser Fields; grandchildren Charles, Joshua, Evan, Jack and Chelsea; and sisters Freda Houston, Patricia Hattendorf and Barbara Dunn. Along with his parents, Butchie was preceded in death was by his sister Marcella. The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to Vietnam Veterans of America at vva.org. or Wounded Warrior at wondedwarriorproject.org. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens from 11 am until time of service at 1pm.
