Sherry Gayle Gulledge, 80, of Dunnavant, Alabama, passed away on December 5, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 10, 1945. Sherry was a beloved member of the Dunnavant community, known for her kind heart and warm smile. Gayle worked at Leeds hospital, Carl Ann's Flores, and she was a care giver for many people she loved. She also was a big part of the Dunnavant fire department where she volunteered for over 30 years. At the age of 72 Gayle decided to go back to college and get a degree. Gayle loved to travel. She loved both the mountains and the beach. And don't mention going to the casino around her if you didn't plan to take her with you. You could almost always find her at the ball park. From her first grand baby down to her littlest great grandson. If they had a ball game she was there cheering them on. If anyone had to say just one thing about Gayle it would be that she loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She was known as either Gayle or Nana, but to almost everyone she was just Nana.

Gayle is preceded in death by; Both her parents(Bill and Margrette Alexander), husband(Harrison Gulledge), daughter-in-law(Sherry Gulledge), and great granddaughter(Lily Gulledge).
