Shannon Scott Elmore, age 53, of Brookwood, Alabama passed away on July 16, 2024. Scott was a hard worker, had a wonderful sense of humor, and had a passion for helping others. He was known for his love of fishing and Alabama football, cooking on the grill, and spending quality time with family. He had a warm and infectious personality that touched the lives of all who knew him. Although his presence will be deeply missed, Scott's memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. 

He is survived by his wife Christy McDuffey; daughter Grace (Demetric) Latham; sons Calen Elmore and Caleb McDuffey;grandchildren Austin and Alaia Latham; mother Wanda Cumberland; deddy Jeff Harbin; brother Shane Keith Cowles; sister Ashley (Reggie) Cook; nephews Grayson Cowles and Layne Cook; and a host of special friends.

He was preceeded in death by his loving grandparents Jimmie and Ruby Cowles.
