Santiago Lopez Patlán, lovingly known as "Don Santiago," passed away on December 22, 2025, in Cantabria, Michoacán, Mexico. He was born on July 18, 1934.

Santiago led a full and vibrant life, filled with love and joy. He had six children - Nena, Yolanda (spouse Victor), Chata, Julio (spouse Maribel Lopez), Joaquin (spouse Leticia Lopez), and Beto (spouse Silvia). - who meant the world to him. He also had ten grandchildren who brought endless happiness into his life (Cecilia Orozco, Jennifer Lopez, Alexis Lopez , Emily Lopez, Omar Orozco, Viridiana Orozco, Cindy Lopez, Noel Lopez, David Lopez, Leslie Lopez).

In his free time, Santiago had a passion for harvesting corn. He could often be found tending to his crops with a smile on his face, enjoying the beauty of nature and the satisfaction of hard work.

Although he will be deeply missed, Santiago’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the warmth of the memories he created during his time on Earth.
