Samuel Dalton, 77, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed on May 15, 2023. Samuel was born on April 01, 1946, Samuel passed away peacefully at Novant Forsyth Medical Center. He was born on to the late Wiley and Beatrice Dalton, Samuel was a member of Waughtown Baptist Church and worked most of his life as a die and tool maker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katana Hairston,daughter, Alicia Hairston, and Renee Dalton.; Sons Alex Dyson, and Michael Dalton

Samuel is survived by a granddaughter, Iesha Searcy, Samantha Butts and grandson Ishua Searcy and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Eddie Brackett officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the staff of Novant Forsyth Medical Center Palliative Care. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Waughtown Baptist Church, 1538 Waughtown Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
