Ruth Pendleton , 68, of Richmond, Virginia, passed on August 15, 2022. Ruth was born on May 04, 1954 to the union of Louis and Ella Mae Edwards. Ruth accepted Christ as her personal saviour in early 2005. She was a faithful, working member of the United Vision Baptist Church under the pastoral care of Pastor Jerry Ellis. 

She was preceded in death by both her parents, Louis and Ella Mae Edwards; grandmother Virginia Edwards; siblings Glacie Weaver; JoAnn Piggee; RoseMarie Chandlet and Jesse Chandler. 

Ruth(or Dr. Ruth as some lovingly called her) attended Schmitt High School. She was employed has a housing manager for SOAR Recovery House for women, A rehabilitation facility and various of other substanc abuse programs for adults and children. The love of her life was Paris Pendleton (honey as she would call him)whom she married in her birthday May 4 of 1985. 

Rutg was an upbeat ,loving, and kind spirited person. She loved her family and friends! Ruth had a passion for people. She enjoyed cooking for them, often hosting family gatherings until her health failed. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, devoted husband Paris Walker; daughters Charmaine Pendleton and Janquil Puckett; sons, Peabo Wilson and Bruce Edwards. Sisters,Louise (Willie) Shaw of Atlanta Georgi, Evelyn Robinson; Vernita Wilson , Carolyn Murphy. Brothers, Philip Pendelton and Thomas Pendleton. Grand children, Katayesa Edwards, Ka'Shayla Pendleton, Kashyra Johnson, Kjuan Chandler and Kamiracle Wott. 4 great grand children and a host of loving cousins niece, nephews and friends.
