Rosa Johnson, born on January 15, 1941, in New Kent, Virginia, United States, passed away on December 2, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of David and Helen Lewis. Rosa was married to Raymond Johnson in 1962 and they had one daughter, Alison, who is survived by her husband, Lewis. She is also survived by her three cherished grandchildren. Jessica Lewis, Whitney Lewis and Lauren Greenhow.

Rosa attended James Weldon Johnson High School and continued her studies at Norfolk State. She later went on to work at Newport News Shipyard.

Rosa will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, her love for her family, and her dedication to her work. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
