Roy Cook, born on July 17, 1978, in Charleston, West Virginia, United States, passed away on February 29, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his partner, Kathy Meadows, their son Zachary, and three beloved grandchildren.

Roy was the son of Timmy Woodrow Cook and Marilyn Hamrick-Cook. He was a dedicated member of the Carpenter Cleaners Union, where he worked tirelessly to provide for his family.

Aside from his work, Roy had many hobbies, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren, whom he adored. He was a proud grandpa of Oaklee Blake Meadows, Asher Wayne Meadows, and Evelyn Grace Meadows.

Roy will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for his family will forever be remembered.
