Roger Douglas RileyCroswellRoger Douglas Riley, of Croswell, MI, died on March 17, 2017 at the age of 74, surrounded by his family in Winter Haven, FL.He was born on October 2, 1942 in Caro, Michigan, the only child of the late Rhea and Robert Riley. On July 2, 1977, he married Donna Jean Riley (Rhinehart) at Stony Creek Park in Shelby Township.Upon graduation from Port Huron High School in 1960, Roger served in the United States Air Force. Once discharged, he began his career as a Journeyman Lineman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Labor Union. Upon completing his apprenticeship, Roger went on to work for several contractors out of the IBEW Local 17 office, his longest tenure at LeCom Communications and Detroit Edison.Roger enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, playing at his favorite casinos, reading and working hard.He is survived by his wife, Donna Riley, and four children; Kevin (Jackie) Riley of Pinellas Park, FL; Amy Riley of Richmond, MI; Rob (Roshea) Riley of Royal Oak, MI; Ryan Riley of Laguna Beach, CA; and two grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. A memorial luncheon will be held on July 1, 2017 at Vintage House, located at 31816 Utica Rd, Fraser, MI 48026 from 12:00-3:00pm.
