Roger L. GraybillHilton Head Island: Age 76, of Hilton Head Island, SC, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at his home. Roger was born on August 16, 1941 in Lancaster, OH. He was the son of the late Ralph and Edna Graybill. He earned three degrees from Ohio State University, including a Doctorate of Optometry. He was an optometrist in Lancaster where he specialized in pediatric visual therapy. In 1992, Roger and his family moved to Hilton Head Island. He was an avid tennis player and his team won the state USTA Tournament in 1994. He enjoyed spending time outdoors riding bikes and walking on the beach. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jeanne; daughters, Gina Jordan, Joni Graybill and Amy Graybill; and grandchildren, Josh, Caleb and Lindsey Jordan. Roger loved animals and, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Palmetto Animal League or Hilton Head Humane Association.
