Rodney Easterwood, age 79, of Opelika, Alabama, passed away on July 19, 2024. He was born on November 15, 1944, to Reverend Horace Lee Easterwood and Dorothy Easterwood.

Rodney is survived by his loving children, Stephen Easterwood, Michael W Easterwood, William Easterwood (spouse Penny Easterwood), and Kristopher Easterwood (spouse Ashley Easterwood). He was also a proud grandfather to six grandchildren.

Rodney attended Dadeville High School and continued his education at Southern Union. He later worked at Uniroyal as a tire builder until his retirement in 1993.

In his free time, Rodney enjoyed following University of Alabama sports. His family and friends will always remember him for his love for his alma mater and his dedication to his work.

On July 19, 2024, Rodney passed away due to complications from heart failure and stroke. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
