Roberta Jackson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and teacher, passed away on February 20, 2024, in her home in Columbus, Ohio, United States. She was born on March 11, 1950, to Leon and Eleanor Whitehouse.

Roberta married her husband Ronald Jackson in 1986, and together they raised three children: David Jackson (spouse April Jackson), Ronald Jr Jackson (spouse Rebecca Smith), and Jonathan Jackson. She was a loving grandmother to seven grandchildren.

Roberta dedicated her life to education, working as a 5th-grade teacher in a K-8 school. She retired in 2004 after many years of service and positively impacting the lives of countless students. Additionally, she proudly served her country as a 1st lieutenant in the United States Military.

Roberta was known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering support for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Roberta Jackson fought a brave battle against cancer until the very end. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
