Robert E. Lytton, Jr.ROSEVILLE: Robert E. Bob spent several years of his childhood in the mountains of West Virginia and always considered the Mountaineer State to be his second home.Bob attended schools in West Virginia and Glouster, Ohio and protected our nation's freedom by serving as an Anti-Aircraft Artilleryman with Company B, 10th Battalion, 4th Armor Regiment. He was self-employed for much of his life, working in home building and repair and also as a mechanic and body shop owner- he even owned a garage on the Las Vegas strip in the late 1960s! He also worked at Essex Wire in Zanesville, as a Union Painter for several years and with his family ran his own business, the Country Kitchen Restaurant in Zanesville for a period of time. He loved his family and friends above all, enjoyed fishing, playing cards, having the occasional beverage and working with his hands. He was not an educated man, but had great intellect and the given ability to think, solve problems and make things happen. Anyone who knew Bob knew he was a very strong and tough "man's man" who outlived experts predictions and always walked his own path, often blazing new trails while he was at it.Bob is survived by his five children: David of Dover, Kim of Roseville, Kevin (Jessica) of Zanesville, Sheila of Junction City and Robert III (Tricia) of Zanesville. He is further survived by his siblings and in laws, Marilyn Lytton of Coshocton, Carol Campbell of Zanesville, Thomas (Cheryl) Lytton of West Union, WV, Steve (Bev) Lytton of Roseville, Joey Reynolds of West Virginia, Rose and Betty Lytton of Ohio, and Lisa Altop of Roseville and his brother and sister in law, Don (Tammy) Yester of Zanesville. Finally, he is survived by his 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as special nieces, nephews, family and friends too numerous to count.
