Rita (Ainsworth) Lindbloom, 55, of Titusville, Florida, born August 12, 1970, passed away on April 28, 2026, at 8:51 a.m. after a courageous battle with cancer. She fought fiercely with strength and determination before being called home, surrounded by the love of her family.
Rita will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, partner, daughter, sister, and friend whose life was defined by strength, humor, and deep devotion to her family.
Born an Ainsworth, Rita carried the strong and determined spirit of her family throughout her life. She shared a deep and lasting bond with her beloved husband and lifelong partner, Franklin Luna Soriano, whom she loved deeply. Together they faced life’s joys and challenges side by side, building a relationship rooted in loyalty, love, and resilience.
Rita was known for her warmth, humor, and the way she brought people together. She loved cooking for family and friends, and some of her family’s favorite meals included her famous pan fries, Spanish rice and beans, and cube steak with French fries. To Rita, cooking was one of the many ways she showed love.
She also loved Spanish music, trips to the ocean, gambling cruises, and dolphins, which decorated her home and held a special place in her heart. Rita had a gift for making people laugh and for bringing comfort and joy to those around her.
Family meant everything to Rita. She cherished time spent together, whether it was singing Spanish music, sharing meals, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying each other’s company.
Rita leaves behind her husband and lifelong partner, Franklin Luna Soriano; her mother, Rita Ainsworth (Cassie); her children, April Hubbard (Driesse), Vanessa Ainsworth, and Felicia Lindbloom; and her grandchildren, Gabriella-Marie Dettrey, Lucius-John Blau, Raegan-Asher Hubbard, Maverick Jeanne Lindbloom, Taylynn Fontaine, Finnegan Fontaine, and Esmerelda Fontaine.
She also leaves behind her sister, Mary Gustafson, and her brothers, Kevin Cassie and Michael Cassie, along with several nieces and nephews.
Rita was loved by so many people. Her strength, laughter, compassion, and fierce love will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
Cremation will be handled by Millennium Cremation of Palm Bay, Florida.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home in Manchester, New Hampshire on a date to be determined.
Following the celebration, a graveside burial will take place at Morrison Cemetery in Deerfield, New Hampshire.
