Richard SturmRichard (Dick) Sturm, 71, of Bryan, TX, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. Dick was born on August 30, 1945 to Hugo and Joan Belch Sturm in Fairmont, West Virginia. Following high school, Dick served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He would later return to a career at IBM for 25 years. Dick had a love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing and target shooting. Dick is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry Sturm and Ted Sturm.He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Sparks Sturm; two daughters Shannon Sturm Overby (husband Don) of College Station, TX and Kelli Sturm Reeves (husband Drue) of Round Rock, TX; five grandchildren Zachary Overby (wife Erica) of Colorado Springs, CO, Wesley Overby of College Station, TX, Natalie Reeves, Madison Reeves, and Lauren Reeves of Round Rock, TX; brother Mark Bigler (wife Gloria) of Fairmont, WV; sister Donna Miller (husband Bob) of FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
