We are saddened to announce the passing of William Scott Jr., who was born on May 16, 1959, in Oberlin,Ohio He peacefully left this world on April 25, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

William, fondly known as Bill, was the beloved son of William Scott Sr. and Constance Hitchens, Oldest Brother of Danny Scott (Terry)&Angie Scott. In the year 2000 he met and later married the love of his life, Jacqueline Scott, with whom he shared many wonderful memories Together, Bill was a proud, loving father to Jamila Scott-Clemons(Jason Clemons), Jill Scott, Isaiah Scott, Diana Scott, and Imari Scott, he also embraced Keir Wilson, Ja’Quaillia Milton, and Michael Mastin Jr. as his own , loving them deeply.

Bill pursued his education at Oberlin High School and later worked as an electrician until his retirement in 2023. Outside of work, he had a passion for riding his motorcycle, playing and learning about guitars, and indulging in his deep love for jazz music. Above all cherished spending time with his family a host of beautiful grandchildren, nieces nephews and great friends creating lasting bonds and unforgettable moments.

After a courageous battle with cancer, he leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable moments., leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

There are no words that can truly capture the depth of this loss. Our hearts ache, but we are grateful for every moment, every laugh, and every piece of wisdom he shared with us.
