It is with deep sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of our brother Phillip Okoye on Saturday, May 21st, 2022 due to complications from cardiovascular disease. Our family is suffering this profound loss and misses him dearly.

Phil was born on August 12, 1988, and was the firstborn child. He was a family leader and always did everything he could to take care of his family. Phil had plans to start an online shoe business and had a passion for cooking. He was highly disciplined, a caretaker, a leader, and passionate about his goals. He loved to laugh and make others around him smile. He is survived by his mother, Roseline, and his siblings, Andrew, Newman, Caleb, and Mercy.

Phillip now rests at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California, as of Monday, June 13th, 2022 3PM.
