Pearl Hicks passed away on April 5, 2024, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States. She was born on December 10, 1952, to Gotra Hicks and Louise C. Holmes. Pearl is survived by her two loving children, Frances Hicks and Vanessa Hicks.Pearl was a dedicated mother and grandmother, always putting her family first. She had a special bond with her six grandchildren, whom she adored and cherished.Pearl attended Melville High School and graduated in 1973. She went on to further her education at T.H. Harris of Opelousas. Pearl was a lifelong learner, always seeking to expand her knowledge and skills.Pearl was a kind and compassionate soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She was known for her warm smile and infectious laughter, bringing joy to all who knew her.Tragically, Pearl passed away from complications related to fluid around her lungs. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.May she rest in peace.
