Pauline Ruth "Polly" HackworthMarshallPauline Ruth "Polly" Hackworth, 87, of Marshall, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation, located on M-60 just west of Arbogast Road, in Union City. Interment of her ashes will be at Riverside Cemetery in Tekonsha at a later date.Polly was born on August 26, 1929 in Tekonsha, MI to Harold and Seena (Willis) Clark. She married Alfred Hackworth and the couple resided in Battle Creek for many years. They later moved to Turtle Lake in Union City, where they lived for more than two decades, until Alfred's death in 2009. Polly and Alfred were married for 62 years. For the past five years, she had resided at Marshall House. During her working years, she was employed by Campbell's Food in Marshall. She also served as a housekeeper at Turtle Lake Resort in Union City.Polly enjoyed making crafts and playing games with her friends at Marshall House. She loved visiting with friends and going shopping.  She will be remembered by her generous heart and loving ways, always wanting to make someone's day brighter.Survivors include a sister, Margaret Craft, of Marshall; a special niece, Sharon Kiessling of Marshall; a granddaughter, Tracy (Louie) Laudermilt of Kentucky; a grandson, Richard (Natalie) Goss, of Kentucky; 5 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and a special friend and neighbor, Kerri Adkins, of Union City.
