This obituary is administered by:
Of Roseville Pauline passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, November 7, 2016. She was born on September 17, 1919 in Osterberg, PA to Floyd and Evelyn Earnest. She was the oldest of their 10 children. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Harry Irvin , Dale and Roy Clair and sisters Madeline Mussante and Mary Jean. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Richard , son Kenneth and daughter Kathryn Larson (Dale) grandson Troy Larson (Laura) and granddaugther Aimee Gao (Shawn), great granddaughters Kaelyn and Elliott Larson, brothers Dean and Wayne (Anna) and sisters Shirley Ritchey and Carol Weyant and sister-in-laws Leanore and Anna Earnest. She had many nephews and nieces. Pauline proudly worked in the Pentagon during WWII and later in the Patent Office in Washington, D.C. After moving to Minnesota with two young twin children, she chose to be an at home mom and dedicated herself to that role. Her families were very much a part of her life; both the one in Pennsylvania and the one resulting from marriage and life in Minnesota. She was a devoted wife, mother and grand-mother. She enjoyed writing letters and had beautiful handwriting. She exchanged weekly correspondence with her mother and later with her sisters. She cherished the trips to the Bedford area whenever possible for the annual Earnest family reunion of 70 to 100 relatives. On such trips she would organize a luncheon with her high school classmates. She was deeply committed to researching the genealogy of both the Earnest and Wonders family and compiled a wealth of background information that she shared with others. She was a patron of the Blackburn Family Association for many years. Pauline was a long time member of the University of Minnesota Women's Club (UMWC) and enjoyed, in particular, the drama, music and culinary arts section activities. Our thanks to the Cherrywood Pointe Memory Care staff and nurses and to the Fairview Hospice staff for their dedicated care. Funeral Service Saturday 11:00 AM at the Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 N. Hamline Ave. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Blackburn Family Association, 25474 Wareham Dr., Huntington Woods, MI 48070; the scholarship fund of the UMWC at UMWC Treasurer, 525 Eastwood Ct., Eagan, MN 551223; or the . 651-631-2727
