In the realm where shadows dance and whispers linger, a soul took their final bow, bidding adieu to mortal bounds. Paul Clayton Mitchell, 71, born in the majestic lands of West Virgina, peacefully departed from his humanly body, November 10, 2023.
Born as the oldest of eight children to Paris and Mrytle, Paul was a natural caretaker. He was always empathic to others, supportive yet firm with his opinions. Somehow he managed to be open minded yet surprisingly stubborn at the same time, present a good argument and you might change his mind.
Married to Janice in 1978, they welcomed two children, Dayna and Joshua. When his children were young he enjoyed staying active with a love of karate. Paul strived to give his children a sense of adventure by taking them to new places and allowing them to try new things.
As a Grandpa, Paul was unique. His mind was sharp and whit was quick. He was relaxed yet stern, dancing a line of joy and justice. Welcoming his grandchildren to think for themselves and encouraging creative thinking to solve problems.
Paul was precceed in death by father (Paris Mitchell), mother (Mrytle Mitchell), brothers (Steve, Robert), sisters (Shelia, Rosemary, Debbie)
