It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Parris Bighems, who left us on August 22, 2011, at the age of 38 in Dothan, Alabama.

Parris was born on February 3, 1973, to proud parents Robert Bighems and Rose Scott. In 1991, Parris married the love of his life, Gloria Bighems, and together they raised three wonderful children: Zack, Parris, and Paige.

Parris was a graduate of Dothan High School class of 1991 and went on to work at Collin Signs, where he made many lifelong friends.

When Parris wasn't hard at work, you could often find him doing what he loved most – grilling up a storm for his family and friends. He had a true passion for cooking and never failed to impress with his culinary skills.

Though Parris may no longer be with us, his memory lives on in the hearts of his loved ones. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and delicious BBQ that will never be forgotten.
