20 year Olajah Marie Clay was born in August 14, 2002 in Broussard, Louisiana. Olajah was involved in a car accident on Sunday, August 21 as she was leaving work. She sustained a spinal chord injury Which doctors were unable to repair. Olajah was a gradua of Ovey Comeaux High School where she made honor roll and graduated in the top 3 of her graduating class. Olajah was also a Junior in college at LSU where she was pursuing her dream of becoming a dedicated police officer. Olajah made sure that she was always in church every Sunday morning and at bible study every Wednesday night. She served the community by volunteering at the homeless shelter every weekend, passing out clothes and food to the homeless. She also served the community through her job as a cashier at Taco Bell, always giving her customers a smile. Olajah sadly went to be with the lord on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 6:03 am. She's preceded in death by her mother, Mary Thibodeaux and grandmother, Sybil Guillery. She leaves behind her Uncle and Aunt, George and Francine Clay, several cousins, Best Friend Madison and husband Eniola, and their children. She also leaves behind her love, Ayinde whom Olajah grew to live in such a short time. Services will be held Friday, August 26, 2022 at John Paul The Great Catholic Church at 9 am.
