On August 8th Mrs.Millicent Lemon's was rush to the Emergancy room for a heart attack and high blood pressure. Doctor did everything they could.  Sadly Later that evening at approximately 10:45pm she was pronounced deseaced.

Millicent Lemon, 84, of Winston Salem, North Carolina, passed Wednesday, August 08, 2018. Millicent was born to Isabell Samuel Tate, July 20, 1934 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Isabell Samuel Tate, her son, Carlton, and her aunt, Asilee Samuel Marshall.

Millicent graduated from Lincoln Academy and received a degree from Clark-Atlanta. Millicent worked at Hecht's Department Store until she retired in 1965.

Millicent is survived by 3 children: Stephanie Porter (Hrarrison Porter), Elliot Lemons (Saundra Lemons), and her niece Rosa McCullum (Alonzo McCullum) who she adopted when her parents passed away early. She also is survived by 8 grandchildren.

Milllicent was a lovely woman and will be missed dearly.
