We regret to announce the passing of Miguel Soto Cortez, a beloved resident of Mayaguez, Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. Born on June 14, 1942, Miguel lived a long and colorful life until his passing on March 7, 2026.

Miguel was known for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and love of good food. He had a passion for storytelling and could keep a room entertained for hours with his tales of adventures and mischief.

Throughout his life, Miguel was a devoted husband to Ana Delia Quiles, whom he married in 1947. Together, they raised three children - Miguel, Darby, and Daniel - who never failed to bring a smile to their father's face.

In addition to his children, Miguel leaves behind eight grandchildren who will always cherish the memories of their grandfather's antics and wisdom.

While Miguel may no longer be with us, his legacy of laughter and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, Miguel Soto Cortez - may your spirit continue to bring joy to those you left behind.
