Surviving are children, Michael Martinez, of Chillicothe, Marie Martinez, of Chillicothe, Johnnie Diaz, of Columbus, Tianna (Clayton) Sparks, of Columbus and Joseph, Tina, Alice and Geno; grandchildren, Michael Martinez, Cienna Martinez, Amina Martinez, Melissa Martinez, Kelton Creech, Mick Monk, Wren Sparks, Elinor Sparks, Ruby Diaz and Jonathan Diaz; great grandchildren, Zade, Amaya, Isabella, Angel and Malikiah; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Joseph; a brother, Jack Messina; a sister, Diana Mantooth; and an infant son.
