It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Simmons, who was born on November 6, 1957, and peacefully left this world on August 29, 2025. Michael was a resident of Haleyville, Alabama, United States.

Michael is survived by their beloved children, Brandy Liverett and spouse Diane Simmons.

Michael had a passion for music and spent many joyful hours playing in a band. They also found solace in the beauty of nature through bird watching and loved to explore new places through traveling.

Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved them. May they rest in peace.
