It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mercy Owusu, who was born on April 18, 1948, in Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana. She peacefully departed this life on January 22, 2025.
Mercy was a dedicated midwife who worked tirelessly throughout her career before retiring in 2008. She was known for her compassionate care and unwavering commitment to her patients.
In her free time, Mercy enjoyed tending to her garden and baking delicious treats for her loved ones. She found joy in nurturing the plants in her garden and sharing her baked goods with friends and family.
Mercy was the beloved partner of John E Owusu and the loving mother of Doris Owusu, Angela Appiah (spouse Richard Appiah), and Duke Owusu. She adored her five grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply.
Her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Mercy's memory will live on through the countless lives she touched with her kindness and love.
Funeral Will be held at Brown Funeral Home and Crematorium in Ranson, West Virginia. All is Cordially Invited.
