We are saddened to announce the passing of MaryAnn Garvey of Trench Town, Saint Andrew Parish, Jamaica. She was born on May 17, 1943, to her loving parents Sam and Mary Atwell.

MaryAnn was a devoted wife to her husband Jim Garvey, whom she married in 1965. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Jackie Garvey and Prince Garvey, who brought them immeasurable joy. Jackie went on to marry June Garvey, creating a beautiful and loving family of their own.

MaryAnn was adored by her five grandchildren, who filled her life with laughter and happiness. She was known for her love of playing volleyball and spending time with her family, always seizing the opportunity to make lasting memories with those she held dear.

On March 15, 2026, MaryAnn passed away due to a sudden heart attack. While we mourn the loss of such a vibrant soul, we take comfort in knowing that she lived a full and happy life surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

May MaryAnn's spirit live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, and may her memory bring us solace in the days ahead.
