Mary E. WrightBattle Creek, MIAge 82, died September 12, 2017 at Battle Creek Manor. Mary was born on November 6, 1934 in Newton, Township, MI, the daughter of Edison and Leola (Tooker) Coller. She attended Oak Grove School and went back to night school to get her High School Diploma. She worked for the A & P grocery store then went to work for the Kellogg Company for 16 years. Later on she worked and retired from JC Penney. Her interest was her church, Trinity Lutheran Church, Elks Lodge 131, bowling, golfing and the Balloon Festival every year. She married Thomas L. Wright in 1954. After his death in 1989, she remarried in the church to Edward Blankenburg in June 2000, who also preceded her in death. Surviving is a daughter, Cindy Wright of Battle Creek; 3 sons, Dan (Phyllis) Wright of Kalamazoo, Gary (Lorrie) Wright of Leonidas and Rick Wright of Battle Creek; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; a sister, Jo Strong; brothers, Keith (Doris) Coller and Bill (Sue) Coller. She was preceded in death by her sisters, June Eisen and Juanita Shear and brothers, Norris, Bob and Dick Coller.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 8:00 p.m., at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 15, 2017, at the funeral home.
