Mary Jane KitamuraDeckerville Mary Jane Kitamura, 87, of Deckerville formally of Algonac, Michigan and Carrabelle, Florida passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, surrounded by her family. Mary Jane was born on July 3, 1929 in Flint, Michigan to Roy and Mary Hagle. Mary Jane married Koman Kitamura on April 15, 1950 in Utica, Michigan. They celebrated 37 1st anniversaries. He preceded her in death in March of 1987.Mary Jane was a member of the Red Hat Society, Lions Club and the VFW in Carrabelle, Florida. She was also a member of the Lanark Village Community Church in Florida where she was a member of the choir and treasurer for the church. Mary Jane loved to go boating and to play cards, euchre was her favorite. She also loved a good game of bingo. Mary Jane loved to spend time with her family. She would travel from Florida to Michigan to see everyone.Mary Jane is survived by her daughter, Mary (Douglas) White; granddaughters, Tracy Wajda, Shannon Venohr; great grandchildren, Connor and Tyler Venohr and Tristan Black; sister in law, Carolyn Andrews; brother in law, Alan (Jan) Kitamura; and several nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Mary Jane's life will take place at a later date.
