Craige, Mary (Salazar) Age 90; passed away peacefully October 29, 2016 at the Alma hospital. She was born on February 18. 1926 in Alma, MI to parents Antonio and Josephine Salazar. She married Alvia John Craige. Together they raised five children, Jean Gallahan, Lois (Jack) Toth, Patricia Blizzard, Bernard Craige, and Richard (Patti) Craige. She was preceeded in death by her parents; husband; three grandsons Larry Richard Walburn, Bernard Craige II, Craig Duenus; sisters Roberta Proctor, Lois Jefferies, Phyllis Gross, Elizabeth Garcia; brothers Tobby, Hugo, Larry, and Eugene Salazar; son-in-laws Robert Carl Campeau, Tom Blizzard, William “Bill” Gallahan; brother-in-laws Jimmy Dale Phelps, Gordon Davis, Earl Proctor, Simon Garcia, and James Jefferies. She is survived by sisters Fran Davis, Pat Phelps; brothers Paul (Betty) Salazar, John Salazar, and Robert (Karen) Salazar; sister-in-law Lauren Salazar; brother-in-law Dale Gross; 21 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Her previous employment included the State Street Restaurant, Bills Restaurant, Hamburger Heaven, Super Hamburg, and Coney Island. Services will be held Saturday November 5, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the Living Word Bible Church 9265 E. Stanton Rd, Crystal, MI. Dinner following service.
