Mary Alice Davis, 83, of Morgan City, Alabama, passed on December 23, 2021. Mrs. Davis is preceeded in death by her husband, Davis, and her sister Yvonne Avery and is survived by her son Ronald K. Davis, grandson Joshua Davis, daughter Karen Brown, grandson Jackie V. Jett, grandson Jason H. Jett, daughter Brenda Carroll, and granddaughter Alexis Carroll. The family of Mrs Davis will receive close friends and family for a memorial service which will be held on Sunday December 26th, 2021 at the home of her daughter, Karen Brown, in Morgan City, Alabama.

Mary Davis lived life fully right up until her last days. She continued to be active, and contribute to her family and community throughout her entire life. She loved to walk and site-see and some of her hobbies included horseback riding and swimming. Her favorite time of year was Halloween and Christmas, especially anything that involved children or decorating. She will be missed deeply by all who knew her, but as she often said "no reason to worry honey, to be absent from the body, is to be present with the lord."
