It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Johnson, who passed away on April 29, 2024, in Savannah, Georgia. She was born on June 19, 1952, to James and Maggie Mae Johnson.

Mary was a beloved wife to John Johnson, whom she married in 1977. Together, they raised two children, Kenneth Brown and Janice Brown. Mary was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother to her four grandchildren. Philip Smith, Lakesha Larry, Lucius Larry, Steph one Brown.

Mary received her education at Savannah High School, where she graduated in 1966. She continued her studies at Savannah State University and graduated in 1970, furthering her knowledge and passion for learning.

Mary was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
