Robert H. Burns was born April 12,1935 to the late Reverend Robert Burns Sr. and Mary Burns in Bainbridge,GA. There he attended Black Jack Elementary and Hutto High School. At the age of sixteen Mr. Burns was a college student at Savannah State University not long after he joined the United States Army as a Demolishist Specialist. After serving his tour of duty he was Honorably Discharged. Robert came to New York where he became a Airline mechanic for Pan American Airlines based at John F Kennedy airport in New York and worked there for twenty seven years until his retirement in 1991.

In New York he also met the love of his life Jean Mcguire to whom he married. They shared thirty-two years of Holy Matrimony until Jean was called to Glory in 1988. Robert Burns leaves behind to cherish his memories his Loving children Tina Alexis - Payne & Kyle Burns along with Grand Children Jasmine Lewis, Ashley Little Daruis Perkins, Courtney Megargel, Kennedy Preaster, Union Burns and Jeaniyah Burns also Sister's Mary Frances and Jeannete Micheau.
