Mark Ray Aarestad, 65, of Crystal River, FL passed away on December 15, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born on March 20, 1951 in Pasco, WA to Ray and Joy Aarestad. An Engineer with Duke Energy for most of his life, Mark was a Deacon at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto, and had a strong faith in our Lord. He loved spending time with family – especially his grandchildren. Mark was also a member of the Seven Rivers Golf & Country Club and enjoyed RV'ing with his wife around the country.He was preceded in death by his parents. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Reneé H. Aarestad; children Ray (Dawn) Aarestad, II, Mark R. Aarestad, Jr., and R. Christine (Albert) Wisnewski; sister Cheri (Kent) King; brother Gregory (Patricia) Aarestad; grandchildren Michael Mackerly, Ray Aarestad,III, Cody Aarestad, Laura Aarestad, Cody Guyett, Sakin Aarestad, Dalton Wisnewski, Alexander Wisnewski and Hunter Wisnewski; great-grandchildren Marley Aarestad and Grant Aarestad.Family will receive friends from 1PM until service time at 2PM, Monday, December 19, 2016 at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto, FL. Private burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Lecanto. Brown Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
