Marie Creed Dean, beloved wife, daughter, and dedicated member of the Raleigh community, passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 54. She was born on December 27, 1969, to her loving parents Henry and Edna in New Orleans, Louisiana where she spent Majority of her life before moving to Raleigh, NC

Marie married her devoted husband Clifton in the year 32, and together they shared a lifetime of love and companionship. Though they did not have children of their own, Marie poured her heart into helping others as a member of the Delta Sigma Theta organization, where her compassion and dedication to service made a lasting impact on those around her.

Marie had a passion for gardening, spending countless hours tending to her flowers and vegetables with a sense of care and patience that reflected her gentle spirit. She found solace and joy in the beauty of nature, often sharing her love for gardening with friends and neighbors who marveled at her green thumb. Marie also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Tragically, Marie's life was cut short by a battle with breast cancer, a disease that she fought with courage and grace until the very end. Despite the challenges she faced, Marie remained strong and resilient, inspiring all who knew her with her unwavering determination and positive outlook.
