Marianne Fern MartinFt. Pierce, FLMarianne F. Martin, age 93, passed on October 14, 2017, at Martin Memorial Hospital in Stuart, Florida. She was born on October 16, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois to Clifford and Amanda DeMarrre (Kroska), the middle child of three siblings, Lucille and Phillip, who have preceded her in death. She was a member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe Tribe. She graduated from The Academy of Our Lady of Good Counsel. She was an educator and a bookkeeper for the City of Buffalo, New York. She was an artist of all mediums, and a member of St. Christopher's Church Choir for many years. She was preceded in death by her son Phillip and her husbands Walter Sosnowski and Frederick Martin. Her Legacy will live on through her children Maxine, Nancy (Ralph), Lucianne, and Peter; grandchildren Mark (Gina), Michele (Duke), James (Joni), Jenifer (Thomas), Jeanette (Fred), Gabriel, Eve and Mia; great-grandchildren Ryan (KerriBeth), Jessica, Brett, Alexis, Elizabeth, Connor, Camryn, Kade, Isabel, Madeline, Jacob, Zackary, Rylie, Lucien, Caelan, Hadley and the many others that chose to call her Mom or Nana. God granted us the pleasure of your company that was too short but will live on forever in all those you have touched with your gracious heart.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Christopher's R.C. Church in Hobe Sound, Florida on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11:00am. A luncheon will follow the service immediately following in the church hall.
