Maggie LashleyCharlotte, MichiganMargaret (Stewart) Lashley (known to family and friends as Maggie), of Charlotte, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017.  She was born on January 20, 1943 to James and Gladys (Dotson) Stewart of Dayton, Tennessee.  In September 1962, Maggie married the love of her life, Jerry L. Lashley Senior.  Maggie enjoyed going to casinos, she coached a softball team, was a Cub Scout leader, and loved traveling throughout the country with her family. She was hardworking, helping to build their family home with her husband Jerry, and invented original new meals for her family to try. Maggie was giving and thrifty. Maggie loved and treasured her family. Maggie is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughter, Lori (John) Weseman; sons, Jerry (Virginia) Lashley Jr., James Lashley, and Troy Lashley; 18 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Derrick Lashley in 2005, three brothers and three sisters.  Funeral services are planned for Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 2 pm at Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte with Marty Saunders officiating.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017, 12-2:00 p.m. at Pray Funeral Home.
