Lynn R. WadeLynn R. Wade, 50, of Flandreau, SD, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD. Lynn was born on April 6, 1966, in Pierre, SD to Jon C. and Marilyn (Wilkerson) Wade. She received her education in Aberdeen, SD, and Albuquerque, NM, graduating from Sandia High School in 1984. She worked as a legal secretary in Albuquerque for twelve years and married Russell Harvey in 1987. Lynn moved to Flandreau in 1997 and started working at Royal River Casino where she was the cage manager. Lynn was a member of the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe. She loved her two cats, Frostbite and Stripes, was an avid Denver Broncos fan, enjoyed bowling, playing cards, dominos, and sports. Lynn was known for her great sense of humor and her infectious laugh. Lynn is survived by her mother Marilyn, Flandreau; sister Jean (Gerald) Lane, Naperville, IL; niece Brittany Lane, nephew Stephen Lane, special friend Pete Seewald, and aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorials to the Moody County Museum and Crystal Theatre. A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Second Presbyterian Church, Flandreau, with burial in First Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017, at Skroch Funeral Chapel with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service. www.skrochfc.com
