Russell Albrecht of Pierre, South Dakota, passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on September 19, 1946, to loving parents.

Russell was a proud member of the US Navy and served his country with honor and dedication. He was known for his sense of humor, his love of fishing, and his never-ending supply of dad jokes.

He was a devoted husband to Connie Albrecht for 67 years, and together they raised two wonderful children, Teresa and Amy. Russell was also a loving grandfather to three grandchildren.

Known for his quick wit and infectious laughter, Russell will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
