LORI LARSON MERRILL FORMERLY OF MILLER AND PORTAGE, IN Lori Larson Merrill age 91, formerly of Miller and Portage, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016. She was born on March 3, 1925 in Detroit, MI to Rudolph Carl and Ethel Marie (Sullivan) Carlson, who preceded her in death. Lori and Fred Larson owned and operated the Bonanza restaurants in Miller and Portage. Lori later worked in the Cracker Barrel gift shop. After Fred's passing in 1977, Lori remained a widow until marrying Bill Merrill in 2004 who preceded her in death in 2013. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 11:00a.m. until the time of service at 1:00p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368, interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville.
