It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorenzo Davis, born on January 27, 1955, in Mobile, Alabama, United States. Lorenzo passed away on October 15, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Lorenzo was the beloved son of Samuel L Davis Sr and Ceola Davis. He was the loving partner of Samuel Davis Jr. and had four children: Tiffany Pugh Brown (spouse De’aundre Brown), Ebony Green, Brittiany Green, and India Green. Lorenzo also leaves behind eight cherished grandchildren.

Lorenzo studied at Mattie T Blount High School and went on to work at Hot Wire Band, where he made many lasting friendships. He was known for his passion for playing the drums, fishing, and engaging in lively conversations filled with laughter and joy.

He will be deeply missed by his surviving siblings Labarron Davis, John L. Davis (Barbara), Vivian Davis, Ella McCall, and Sarah Davis. Lorenzo was preceded in death by his sisters, Sarah Davis and Mary Maxwell.

Though he may be gone, Lorenzo's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Lorenzo Davis.
