CLEMENZ, Leroy E. Age 91 of Centerville, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 24, 1925 in Lawrenceville, IN to the late, Albert and Sadie (Huber) Clemenz. Also preceding Roy in death is his brother, Stanley Clemenz. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Peggy (Zeh) Clemenz; children, Jill (Jim) Hesson, Daniel (Phylis) Clemenz, Gary (Debby) Clemenz; grandchildren, Kara (Andy) Phillips, Jenna Clemenz, Anna (Robert) Moehling, Roy (Carly) Clemenz, Jonathan T. (Stacy) Clemenz, James Clemenz, Christopher (Lindsey) Hesson, Jamie (Brad) Hager, Daniel (Bailey) Hesson, Eric Hesson and 6 great-grandchildren. Roy served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. He graduated from Indiana Tech with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and went on to work with Traveler's Insurance as a Safety Engineer. Friends and family may visit from 11 am-1pm on Saturday, October 29 at the Centerville Community Church. The funeral service will begin at 1: 00 pm. Roy will be laid to rest in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Centerville Community Church, in memory of Roy.
